FAQ

How big should I make the glitter bombs?

This depends on the size of the drink glasses your serving and how you want to serve them! If you want
ou can even make these bigger than the glass opening and have them rest of top like show above. Then, people can push them into the drink. It’s really up to you!

Why are they melting?

Cotton candy itself is hygroscopic, meaning it readily absorbs moisture from the air.If your cotton candy absorbs too much moisture,it will start to clump and melt.Make sure you store your cotton candy in an airtight containerin a cool, dry place,
Use room-temperature, dry ingredientswhen making your glitter bombs, and
avoid handling them with wet hands or utensils.

Why are they hard/dried out?

In addition to melting if they get to warm, or encounter moisture, the glitter bombs can dry out if making too far in advance or if exposed to too much air.
The good news is if they dry out, they’ll still work, you just might need to stir a little bit longer to dissolve the cotton candy.

These are such a fun addition to any party. They’re common for New Year Eve parties, but are also great for birthdays, wedding events, or Valentine’s day!
